Who we are
Created in 2009, CVE is an independent French producer of renewable energies that defends a decentralised territorial energy model by selling energy locally.
Our purpose: “putting people and the planet at the center of tomorrow's energy”.
As a multi-energy company, we produce green electricity and gas through our solar, biogas and hydrogen activities.
Multi-country, we are established in France, Chile, the United States, South Africa and Spain.
We develop, finance, build and operate decentralised renewable energy production units owned or in partnership; we market this energy locally to suppliers, companies and local authorities.
By crossing the GW mark in secured projects, CVE is one of the leading renewable energy players, particularly in France and Chile.

Since the creation of CVE, its partners were determined to set up a company that works for the common good and does not only seek economic performance. Our entrepreneurial project creates environmental and social wealth.
CVE's commitment is to have a positive impact by acting on 3 main objectives: environmental, human and social.
Of course, these commitments are part of our business processes. We have structured our approach and have become a “société à mission” (mission-driven company) in 2022. We have been B Corp certified since June 2023.
